Broadband Internet Dongle
Broadband dongles are a great way of accessing the internet, email and other web applications without using your telephone line or any wire at all. Infact if you can get a mobile signal on your phone then you can access the mobile dongle network allowing you to get what is effectively wireless broadband anywhere you like.
Of course if you are like me and live in the countryside next to the coast you may have to accept you cant get it (have a look on the providers site) but most people living in towns can get it and find its a great alternative to walking 50 yards to the nearest wifi hotspot, station, pub or cafe. Whereas I, as most others around these rural parts are used to waiting a long time for stuff to 'happen' so no internet is great - we are happy waiting.
Most of all broadband dongles are great for people who dont really want to get away from the internet, people who need it every second of their lives - broadband dongles are great for this as you cant get away from it when it follows you. Mobile broadband - Excellent.
Broadband Dongles come in two main packages just like mobile phones do. You can either get a PAYG version thats easy to regulate your own spend and usage on. Or you can go for a Contract deal that for some people like heavy users can offer you cheaper prices for unlimited usage.
